The La Marche DCES is an electronic switch that provides full control and flexibility on the selection of two DC power sources to be used at a given time. In applications where continuity plays a key role, a redundant power source system might be the best solution to cover your needs.
The La Marche DCES allows you to select one or the other source, periodically switch between both sources, or always maintain both sources on at the same time.
Typical applications are found in switchgear station batteries or redundant engine-start systems for emergency generators.
The DCES features an LCD display where voltage readings for each of the sources are provided. In addition, this unit is equipped with two LED indicators, providing information on what power source is being used. Two different versions of the DCES are offered. One version is designed for utility, switchgear and other constant-load type applications, and a higher-current version is offered for engine-start applications.
